The BWS/NYSC cancer advocacy started in 2009 in the Imo, Anambra, Abia, Akwa Ibom and Cross rivers state. The training has been very rewarding as many as 1500 corp. members as been sensitized and an average of 75 advocates trained each batch of orientation.

In Cross Rivers State visit has been made to the Eburutu Barracks, Watts market and Hair Beauty Plaza.

In Imo apart from visit to schools, markets and churches, our youth corpers have visited brothels to educate commercial sex workers on cancer, especially cervical cancer.
